Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Site Engineer
Location: Tottenham (with nationwide travel)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year (Weekly pay)
About the Role:
A well-established and market-leading engineering company specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of pumping and mechanical equipment is seeking a motivated Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Site Operative to join its external site team.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced role working alongside an Electrical Site Engineer to install, commission, service and repair pumps and associated mechanical equipment across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Attend nationwide installations and breakdown callouts as required
Service, repair and assemble pumps and pumping equipment
Install and commission mechanical systems on client sites
Complete detailed site reports following each visit and obtain client sign-off
Maintain van stock, tools and equipment in good working order
Ensure compliance with company procedures and Health & Safety policies
Act as a professional ambassador for the business at all times Person Specification
Knowledge & Experience:
Experience in a similar mechanical or maintenance role
Industry knowledge (pumps experience desirable) Qualifications & Training:
Mechanical qualification (essential)
CSCS card (essential)
Confined Space training*
First Aid*
SSSTS* (*Training can be provided if not currently held.)
