We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in early childhood education and childcare. As an Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience while working under the guidance of experienced practitioners, helping to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
Duties
* Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Support the daily care routines of children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and happiness.
* Communicate effectively with children, fostering positive relationships and encouraging their social skills.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high standard of care and education is provided at all times.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in childcare.
Experience
* A genuine interest in working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare.
* Prior experience in a nursery or childcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A willingness to learn about early childhood education principles and best practices.
* Subject to DBS Check
