As a Principal Process Engineer, you will provide process engineering leadership across complex bids and early-stage project definition within our Business Winning team. This is a full-time role based at one of our main sites: Warrington (Cheshire), Preston (Lancashire), Leicester (Leicestershire), Newbury (Berkshire), or Bristol with travel to other Cavendish Nuclear and customer locations as required. Hybrid working arrangements are available. Day-to-day you'll be required to:
Responsibilities
* Lead the process engineering elements of bids.
* Develop and deliver engineering scope, schedules and resource plans.
* Ensure technical integrity, compliance, and quality.
* Produce and review technical reports and verification plans.
* Promote engineering best practice and mentor others.
Qualifications
* Significant demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
* Experience managing teams delivering technical activities.
* Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* Engineering degree (or equivalent) with significant experience.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
