Role Overview:
As a Sr. Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, engineering, and implementing configurations across the EMEA network infrastructure. Your expertise will help drive the deployment of cutting-edge technical solutions while adhering to architectural governance, standards, and policies.
Key Skills:
* proven experience as a Load Balancing Network Engineer.
* Extensive experience with F5 DNS (GTM) and various F5 Modules: LTM, GTM, APM, ASM, SSLO.
* Knowledge of virtual Load Balancers and FIPS modules.
* Proficiency in building and configuring Load Balancers to meet given standards.
* Experience with VMware's Next Gen Load Balancer (AVI Networks).
* Automation scripting skills.
* Strong DMZ architecture and engineering experience.
* In-depth knowledge of network protocols and security principles.
* Working knowledge of DNS and IP Address Management.
* Excellent communication and technical analytical skills.
* A strong commitment to network security and compliance.
* Proven troubleshooting abilities for complex network issues.
* A collaborative spirit, but also the ability to work independently.
* A client-focused approach to network engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Elicit, analyse, and document technical application and service requirements.
* Collaborate with multiple technical teams to identify end-to-end solutions that balance business needs with security, availability, and resiliency.
* Create and document designs utilising best practises and standard approaches.
* Configure devices and deploy new services into production.
* Participate in the prioritisation and scheduling of implementation activities.
* Manage stakeholder requirements effectively.
* Actively engage in the Change Management process.
* Assist in troubleshooting existing and new implementations, enhancing services along the way.
* Identify and manage risks within the operational environment.
* Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects changes in the network.
