Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for an Operational Trainer (Nights) to join our team in Avonmouth, supporting one of our new business wins! As an Operational Trainer, you'll instruct, test, monitor, and mentor colleagues in the safe use of MHE and deliver operational safety training across all areas of the operation.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 06:00 to 18:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:
* Be the face of GXO for new operational colleagues, ensuring they receive the necessary training to perform their roles safely
* Deliver MHE and operational compliance training in line with GXO's policies and guidance
* Lead by example as an ambassador for learning, providing training and ongoing support to all learners and on-the-job coaching
* Stay updated with the latest regulations and legislation related to MHE and H&S, ensuring new practices are integrated within the business
* Support and deliver other training sessions and workshops across all functions, ensuring training is evaluated, recorded, and maintained
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* A current MHE trainer qualification (RTITB, ITSSAR, or AITT) and active training on a regular basis; consideration will also be given to experienced MHE operators with valid operator qualifications who wish to undertake instructor training
* Previous warehouse experience with Counterbalance and/or Reach certification
* Flexibility to meet business needs and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and develop strong relationships at all levels
* Previous training experience
