Job Overview Nuco Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Heating Wet Worker Engineer to join our busy Commercial Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of pipework and heating fixtures associated with district heating systems in residential properties. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs efficiently, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities * Diagnose faults and identify correct tools and materials for repair * Install, maintain, and repair radiators, cylinders, valves, and pipework * Replace/install radiators and ancillary pipework * Replace/install 2-port and 3-port control valves and immersions, including wiring * Replace/install cylinders, thermal stores, tanks, and ancillary equipment * Upgrade and repair heating and hot water services * Isolate and cap leaking radiators and valves * Inspect plumbing and heating systems, replacing worn components * Complete written and electronic reports and site logs * Attend responsive heating and hot water callouts, achieving a high first-time fix rate * Participate in a compulsory call-out rota (1 in 5 Requirements * Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing (or equivalent) * Proven experience working in plant rooms and commercial heating systems * Strong experience with HIUs (Heat Interface Units) * Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Strong communication and customer service skills * Good time management and organisational ability * Strong mechanical and technical knowledge Benefits * £40,000 basic salary call-out earnings * Weekly pay * Company van provided * Fuel card provided * Plant and tools provided * Van stock provided * Uniform, mobile phone & tablet provided * 25 days holiday Bank Holidays * Pension scheme – Company contribution 3%, Employee contribution 5
