We are currently recruiting Behaviour Support Assistants to work in a range of secondary schools across Bury. These rewarding roles involve supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping them engage positively with their education.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties
* Providing one-to-one and in-class support to help manage behaviour and engagement
* Assisting in the delivery of tailored strategies and interventions
* Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to promote positive outcomes
* Supervising lessons as a Cover Supervisor when required
* Contributing to safeguarding and student wellbeing procedures
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people in a school or support setting
* Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills
* A calm, resilient, and proactive approach to challenges
* A genuine desire to make a difference in young people’s lives
* The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Recent, relevant references
* Right to work in the UK
