Responsibilities
The postholder will work within a portfolio that includes the development and delivery of community involvement, particularly in relation to people with protected characteristics as defined by the Equality Act 2010, and the commissioning of associated services and projects. The role is varied and you will be required to work at pace to support the development and delivery of interventions to meet new and emerging need. The role also includes contract monitoring, performance management and financial accountability, and you should have experience and an understanding of all aspects of the commissioning cycle. You will assist in the development of local strategies and plans to improve outcomes for residents, working in partnership with service providers to investigate and develop innovative service delivery models to meet the needs of vulnerable people.
Key responsibilities include data interrogation and analysis to produce quality documentation and reports to support system change and service delivery; negotiating, influencing and enthusing colleagues internally and across partner agencies; delivering high quality outcomes and performance with a drive for change; and delivering results at an operational level.
