The Project Manager will work with the CDC Senior Operations Manager and Specialty Leads to facilitate, support, and monitor the delivery of new patient pathways at JPUH and Northgate Hospital. These include pathways for breathlessness, Children and Young People's Asthma, hearing loss, liver, and capsular endoscopy.
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring each scheme aligns with PMO standards, involves relevant stakeholders, completes Trust documentation, and undergoes quality and risk assessments before starting.
The primary focus is to support specialties in delivering benefits, improving patient care and safety, and service enhancements. The Project Manager must challenge delivery owners to ensure schemes are completed within budget and timelines, and seek innovative ways to improve systems and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing projects using industry standards like Prince2 and LEAN.
* Creating project plans and documentation, including quality and risk assessments.
* Monitoring CDC pathway progress and maintaining dashboards.
* Managing multiple projects, adjusting plans as needed, and coordinating with specialty leads.
* Understanding hospital service needs and collaborating with clinical staff and department heads.
* Leading project meetings and reporting on progress.
* Communicating effectively at all organizational levels.
* Providing regular progress reports to stakeholders and relevant authorities.
* Liaising with the PMO team and external stakeholders.
