Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of SSEN projects across the Highlands. Based in Inverness, this role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while meeting both customer expectations and Morgan Sindall’s Perfect Delivery objectives.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure projects, acting as the key interface between Morgan Sindall, SSEN, stakeholders and the wider supply chain. You will lead project teams to consistently achieve excellence in health & safety, quality, cost control and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Successfully deliver projects in line with customer requirements and Morgan Sindall standards
* Manage all aspects of the contract through to satisfactory completion
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, supply chain partners and the local community
* Take full responsibility for site management, driving performance against time, cost and quality targets
* Develop, forecast and monitor project performance, taking proactive action where required
* Ensure project costs are rigorously controlled and expenditure accurately recorded
* Lead and embed a continuously improving health, safety and environmental culture
* Deliver high-quality installations aligned to Perfect Delivery objectives
* Implement and comply with all Morgan Sindall policies, procedures and governance requirements
* Manage project risks and opportunities in accordance with company processes
* Proactively promote continuous improvement initiatives, including feedback, lessons learned and best practice
* Maximise resource utilisation while managing costs within contract parameters
* Engage with stakeholders and the public where required to support successful project delivery
About You
Qualifications & Technical Knowledge
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant construction, engineering or infrastructure discipline
* Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution (desirable)
* Valid CSCS card
* Strong knowledge of the construction and infrastructure industry, ideally within the energy / utilities sector
