We’re looking for a passionate and detail-driven Crane & Lifting Equipment Inspector to ensure that MEWPs, HIABs, Cranes, FLTs, and other lifting gear meet the highest standards under LOLER & PUWER regulations. You’ll be the trusted expert delivering peace of mind to high-profile clients across diverse sectors.

What We Offer:
1. Salary of £42,148 to £45,232 pa
2. £40,000 training investment
3. £4,000 location allowance (dependent on postcode)
4. £5,000pa car allowance/Company Car
5. 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays with the option to buy or sell 5 holidays, plus an option to carry over 5 days
6. Combined pension contributions of up to 12%
7. £2,500 one-off retention payment as a reward for your commitment—payable in December 2026! (pro-rata for new starters).

Qualifications & Skills:
As you would expect from a globally trusted inspection provider, Bureau Veritas holds several accreditations and complies with regulations including UKAS accreditation, SAFed membership and SAFed Standard SS01 compliance. Candidate requirements for Mechanical Inspection roles are:
15. Minimum NVQ4, HNC, HND or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification.
16. LEEA qualifications are unfortunately not applicable on their own, but they are preferred alongside a relevant mechanically biased engineering qualification.
17. Minimum three to five years’ post qualification experience working with relevant discipline specific equipment.
18. Current Clean UK driving license.
