About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Installation and Commissioning Manager to join our dynamic renewable energy company. As Commission & Installation, you will be responsible for ensure the in time delivery of the project and conduct commission & Installation. You will play a crucial role in our project delivery and also help out and collaborate during O&M stage when needed.
Key responsibilities:
* Provision of effective leadership of the BESS engineering capability.
* Completion of the project installation and commissioning work and successful handover to the customer.
* Support to the Responsible Designer and Engineering Design Manager in the delivery of the projects.
* Act as Principal Designer Advisor under the Regulations.
* Develop, own and deliver design, safety case and commissioning strategies.
* Specify and provide technical supervision of commissioning and/or decommissioning, acting as Commissioning Lead.
* Manage handover to systems ensuring that all drawings, instructions and training have been supplied as required.
* Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety, Security and Quality policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments and support the continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality on Site.
Qualification and expertise:
* A degree in Engineering or relevant subject (Essential).
* Significant experience in the Renewable energy, Process or Construction industries (Essential).
* A good working knowledge of Technical, Health & Safety and Environmental Legislation (Essential).
* Knowledge/experience of contract management (Desirable).
* The candidate must be a proactive individual with excellent communication skills both up and down lines of accountability and across project teams.
* Travel to other locations will be necessary depending on the demands of the program.
