Title: Accounts Manager Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time Location: Inverness Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience/qualifications) The opportunity: Our client is looking to appoint a Manager within the Accounts & Business Services Advisory Team. Duties include: Own and manage a client portfolio with higher level of client responsibility, oversee your teams portfolios and inputting to workflow planning. Deliver revenue and profitability targets. Foster enduring client relationships. Develop and inspire our smarter people plan. Oversee your teams portfolios. Use of workflow management across the team for your own portfolio Deal with all elements of client service with support from Director/Partners for technical areas. Develop opportunities for the Group and flag to the Director/Partner. Provide pro-active support, minimising client contact with partners. Work both autonomously and as part of a team. Take responsibility for delivery of quality advice. Technical skills: Hold year end accounts discussion/meeting with client and have the ability to cross sell where relevant. Provide meaningful interpretation of working capital ratios, such as debtor days. Gather relevant information, including a detailed understanding of client's working capital cycle,to prepare 3 way cashflow forecast for projection purposes. Explain when prior period adjustments are required and identify the appropriate course of action. Review set of projections including cashflow report and apply client knowledge to identify anomalies. Prepare and document supporting assumptions, rationale relating to projections and cash flows. Understand VAT partial exemption/reverse charge entries and ensure these have been posted correctly. What are we looking for? ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualified. Experience of managing a client portfolio and working with clients within a variety of industries.
