The Role & Responsibilities As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will: Provide Direct Support: Work with individuals and small groups of students to implement personalised behaviour support plans and de-escalation strategies. Build Positive Relationships: Establish strong, trusting relationships with students to mentor and guide them toward making positive choices. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, pastoral leads, and parents to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to student well-being. Crisis Intervention: Respond to challenging situations calmly and effectively, using de-escalation techniques to ensure the safety of all students and staff. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student incidents, progress, and interventions to inform future support strategies.
