Whitehouse Surgery is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team. The role involves transforming pathways of care and sharing skills across professional boundaries. This is an exciting opportunity as the Group continues to grow within the area. We currently deliver care services in Milton Keynes from three practices: Whitehouse, Neath Hill, and Brooklands, collectively known as OneMK PCN.
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) will make autonomous decisions in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Candidates should have primary care experience and a commitment to high standards of patient care.
The ACP role includes clinical governance responsibilities alongside the lead nurse and provides clinical leadership to ensure safe, effective, and compliant service delivery. You will work with a team comprising GPs, nurses, wellbeing advisors, health coaches, physician associates, and others.
Key requirements include:
* Registration with NMC, HCPC, or GPhC
* MSc in Advanced Practice or equivalent
* Certified Independent Prescriber
* Experience in primary care and minor illness management
* Proficiency in managing entire episodes of care within a multidisciplinary team
* Strong communication, patience, and friendliness
* Ability to perform under stress and complex situations
* Sound clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
* Flexibility and leadership qualities

Location: Whitehouse Surgery, a purpose-built health centre with ample parking, serving Milton Keynes residents. The team includes GPs, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists, social prescribers, mental health workers, and support staff.
