We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and experienced EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Swindon, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early years education and supporting children as they develop essential skills, confidence, and a love of learning.

The school has a strong Early Years Foundation Stage provision, offering a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to explore, play, and learn. The leadership team is supportive, values staff wellbeing, and promotes professional development opportunities for all staff.

As an EYFS Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS curriculum. You will support children’s development across all prime and specific areas of learning, including communication and language, literacy, numeracy, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional development. You will also liaise with parents and external professionals to ensure children receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging, play-based EYFS lessons

* Observe, assess, and track children’s development across all areas of learning

* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

* Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development

* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN

* Build positive relationships with parents and carers

* Work collaboratively with EYFS colleagues and support staff

* Maintain accurate assessment records and learning journals

* Promote positive behaviour, routines, and independence

* Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

* Have recent experience teaching in EYFS or Reception

* Be caring, patient, and child-focused in approach

* Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework

* Be creative, organised, and reflective in practice

* Be an effective communicator and team player

* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

The school is located in Swindon, with good transport links and a welcoming community. Staff benefit from a supportive working environment, access to professional development, and strong leadership support. This is a highly rewarding role for an EYFS teacher who wants to make a meaningful impact on children’s early learning experiences.
