Confidence Magazine is a free, women-only publication dedicated to elevating the voices of women who lead, create, heal, and empower. Based in Brighton & Hove, we are building a platform that highlights real stories, practical tools, and inspirational journeys that awaken confidence from within.
Published quarterly and distributed online and in key physical locations across the UK, Confidence Magazine is more than a publication it's a movement. Our goal is to make transformational content accessible to every woman, especially those who need it most, and to create a ripple effect of empowerment, healing, and leadership.
We feature women who are changing the world authors, entrepreneurs, wellness professionals, creatives, activists and we do so by making space for depth, authenticity, and impact.
We are now expanding our reach and looking for the right person to help us build partnerships, attract aligned contributors, and grow our sponsorship base all while keeping the magazine free for our readers.
Role Description
We’re looking for a Brighton or Hove-based, women-identifying creative communicator with a background in sales, marketing, and relationship-building to join our mission at Confidence Magazine. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping us keep the magazine free and accessible by:
* Reaching out to aligned brands and sponsors.
* Finding and onboarding inspiring female contributors.
* Nurturing relationships with potential partners.
* Managing simple updates to our WordPress or Go High Level pages (training can be provided).
* Participating in sales calls and supporting follow-ups.
* Representing the spirit and mission of the magazine with professionalism, warmth, and passion.
This is a part-time freelance position with flexible hours, a basic monthly retainer, and generous commission paid for every confirmed contributor or sponsor brought in.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and reach out to potential contributors, sponsors, and partners aligned with our mission.
* Organise and sit in on sales and partnership calls, supporting the conversion process.
* Update website content via WordPress or Go High Level (basic training can be provided).
* Manage direct outreach and create meaningful conversations on social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram).
* Assist with simple design tasks (e.g., Canva) for pitch decks, contributor packs, and sponsorship materials.
* Collaborate directly with the magazine’s founder to support content planning and growth strategy.
* Help expand the magazine’s local visibility in Brighton & Hove and throughout the UK.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You Have…
* Experience in sales, partnerships, or marketing.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A passion for empowering women and supporting female-led initiatives.
* Basic design or writing skills and an eye for aesthetics (Canva, etc.).
* Familiarity with or willingness to learn WordPress and Go High Level.
* A self-motivated, collaborative, and creative personality.
* A local presence in or near Brighton & Hove, with the ability to work both onsite and remotely.
* An entrepreneurial spirit, you enjoy building things and connecting the dots.
Compensation
* Flexible working hours (3-5 hours per week to start)
* Commissionper confirmed contributor/sponsor (generous and transparent structure)
