About the Role
Teaching Personnel is delighted to be partnering with a vibrant, inclusive school in Prescot, and we’re seeking dedicated PPA Cover Teachers to deliver high‑quality lessons across KS1 and KS2 during teachers’ Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.

Your Role – What You Will Do
* Deliver Inspiring Lessons: Teach pre‑planned lessons across KS1 and/or KS2 to provide PPA release for class teachers.
* Maintain Continuity: Ensure a smooth learning experience by following school planning and adapting where appropriate.
* Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a calm, inclusive and engaging atmosphere in every classroom you teach.
* Collaborate Effectively: Communicate clearly with class teachers and leaders, offering constructive feedback following lessons.
* Support Pupil Progress: Assess understanding during lessons and adapt delivery to meet the needs of all learners.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2.
* Strong communication, organisation and adaptability skills.
* A flexible, proactive mindset suited to moving between classes.
* A solid understanding of safeguarding and commitment to pupil wellbeing.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
