Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and passionate Assistant Chef to support our kitchen operations and help deliver high-quality dishes consistently. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn and grow within a professional kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with food preparation and cooking
* Prepare ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and portioning
* Ensure dishes are prepared according to recipes and quality standards
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times
* Help with stock rotation and basic inventory management
* Support during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements
* Previous experience in a professional kitchen is an advantage but not essential
* Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment
* Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
* Culinary training or certification is a plus
