About the job Location: London: 5 days a week in the office (non negotiable) Role: Finance Director (Commercial background) Term: Contract 6 months Start date: Immediate start Morgan Mckinley is partnering with a high end luxury leading real estate office rental business London. You'll be joining a fast paced environment where stronger financial oversight is needed to support scale. You'll work closely with a strong CEO who is looking for someone to support the finance team and wider business on finance related matters as well as up skilling where appropriate. This role suits someone energetic, from a entrepreneurial commercial background, steady under pressure, and hungry. You'll play a key role in shaping how finance operates as the company continues to expand. Roles and responsibilities: Own the end-to-end financial strategy and operating model, tightly aligned to growth, profitability, and cash objectives. Produce timely, accurate management accounts and Board packs with clear insight, risk flags, and forward-looking commentary. Design and own executive dashboards; define KPIs and enforce a consistent performance and review cadence across the business. Actively challenge budget holders on targets, spend, and ROI; enforce accountability for financial outcomes. Lead M&A from a finance perspective: opportunity evaluation, financial modelling, due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition performance tracking. Partner cross-functionally (Sales, Operations, IT) to raise data quality and decision standards across the business. What would the ideal person look like: ACA/ACCA/ qualified (or equivalent) Success in roles such as Senior Finance Manager, Head of Finance, Finance Director, or similar. From a commercial background Ambition to grow into a long-term MD roles Experience scaling an SME or leading a business through transformation Minimum of 5 years experience post qualification experience Experience in Netsuite Energetic and bubbly personality
