We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Thames Water Framework team based on on two projects in Surrey.
Location: working from home from offices and sites in the Surrey area
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

About the role
Join our commercial team as a Quantity Surveyor working on an exciting Water Framework or Major Project. You'll be part of a supportive environment where everyone is empowered to achieve their career goals, working collaboratively from the early contractor involvement stage through to construction completion.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering effective cost management and contractual control. Your day to day will include:
* Working collaboratively with project delivery teams to ensure contractual control and cost management across different sectors
* Managing commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement through to final account agreement
* Contributing to project delivery throughout the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction to completion
* Participating in negotiations to ensure the best possible financial outcomes
* Supporting an inclusive workplace where diversity and wellbeing are prioritized
What are we looking for?
This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
* You have a commercial/construction-related degree or equivalent qualification
* You hold a full UK driving licence
* You have previous experience working in a commercial role for a contractor
* You're familiar with a variety of contract forms
* You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy building relationships
