The Senior DevOps Engineer ensures service reliability and performance by maintaining, designing, and providing expertise in line with standards, ensuring reliability, security and effective monitoring. Collaborating with architects and teams, they clarify design constraints and non-functional requirements, workforce needs, and cost implications during discovery and delivery phases. They address operational and infrastructural challenges by enhancing system reliability, monitoring performance, and implementing resilience strategies. They share common responsibilities in automation, reliability, and infrastructure management with other DevOps colleagues. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be part of a “center of excellence”, helping other teams implement SRE practices. They will be expected to mentor and lead other engineers in technical tasks, as well as support recruitment and assessment activities.
