We have opportunities for newly qualified band 5 and experienced band 6 midwives to join our maternity team, providing high quality midwifery care to women within the hospital and community settings of York and Scarborough. There are opportunities available in all areas of hospital and community midwifery services, with an excellent preceptorship package for newly qualified midwives. To teach, supervise, support and assess student midwives and colleagues within the wider maternity team based on your own level of experience. To contribute to a culture of high standards, continuous learning, psychological safety and teamwork.

To work within the framework of the NMC Midwives Code of Practice, and York & Scarborough NHS Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust Guidelines and Protocols. You may be required to be deployed outside of their normal work setting, depending on clinical risk and service need.
