We are currently recruiting a Sales Director for Hand Picked Hotels to focus on agency and national accounts for the group. This is a newly created and will be support the 3 divisions of Events, Luxury and Channel Islands. This is a national role, you can be in London, South or Midlands as this role will involve travel as required. About the role: The Sales Director Agency and National Accounts is accountable for setting and implementing the Sales strategy for Travel Management Companies (TMCs and key UK venue finding agents) across the HPH group (all divisions), focused on transient and MICE Segment. The role holder develops existing accounts and contacts and negotiates and implements contracts, whilst targeting new business opportunities and customers via the TMC network and venue finding agents. As Sales Director for Agency and National Accounts you will be accountable for the development and management existing corporate National Accounts and new corporate business in key priority markets (i.e. London and other major markets). In this role of Sales Director for Agency and National Account you will work very closely with the Divisional Sales Directors for each of the three HPH divisions (Luxury, Events, Channel Islands) to ensure a coordinated, joined up and well executed sales approach in the MICE segment. About you: To be considered for this role of Sales Director you must have 10 years of experience in Hotel sales within a 4- or 5-star environment, with national accounts/TMCs and ideally with corporate and MICE. Highly proactive, with motivation to drive business growth and exceed targets, with relentless drive to pursue opportunities. Ab ility to negotiate contracts, pricing, and other terms with key clients, build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Excellent organizational skill to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously. You will be an excellent influencer, at all levels including senior stakeholders and the relevant key liaisons at hotel level Outstanding communication skills both verbally and written Ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and other terms with key clients Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
