Job Description
The key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will include:
3. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports
4. Updating and maintaining accounting journals and ledgers
5. Assisting in the processing of invoices and expense forms
6. Supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
7. Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations
8. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes
9. Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc accounting tasks
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
10. A solid understanding of accounting principles
11. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
12. AAT qualified or working towards professional qualification
