Decoy Community Primary School is seeking two caring, enthusiastic and adaptable Classroom Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated and supportive team from September 2026. We have two opportunities available: one full-time position and one part-time position working FTE (two full days and three mornings per week).
These rewarding roles involve supporting teaching and learning across the primary age range, working alongside class teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially. You will be positive team players who can build strong relationships with children and colleagues, use their initiative and adapt to the varied needs of a busy primary school environment.
These positions would suit individuals who are passionate about helping children thrive and are committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning experience for all pupils. Whether your experience comes from working in education or through other relevant roles and experiences, if you are dedicated to making a difference and supporting every child to succeed, we would love to hear from you.
The part-time role offers an attractive working pattern of two full days and three mornings each week, providing flexibility while remaining an integral part of our school team.
At Decoy, we are proud of our nurturing ethos, our well-behaved and enthusiastic pupils and our strong sense of community.
Join us and become part of a team that is committed to ensuring every child feels valued, supported and inspired to succeed.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
