We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Huntercombe, a Category C mens prison. Location: HMP Huntercombe. Salary: £41,818.21. Contract: Permanent - Full Time.

We are a Ministry Of Justice business providing critical and time-bound services to HMPPS and are seeking an Electrician with a combination of qualifications and experience as listed below.
Responsibilities
* Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in a prison environment as part of the Facilities Maintenance Team.
* Collaborate with Plumbers, other Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, Administrators, and other colleagues to maintain safe operations.
* Support rehabilitation and safety initiatives through reliable electrical work and adherence to procedures.
* Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards, including planned and preventive maintenance operations.
Qualifications
* Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition).
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S) e.g., 2367 or 2357.
* Two years' experience as a fully qualified electrician.
* Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems.
* Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations.
* Good Health & Safety knowledge.
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
