Warehouse Operative | DriverLocation: Bristol
We are a leading UK wholesaler with 30 branches across the UK and Ireland, and we are continuing to grow. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative & Driver to join our busy and friendly team in Bristol.
This is a varied role combining warehouse duties and customer deliveries, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and delivering excellent customer service.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering goods to customers using a company vehicle (up to 3.5 tonnes - standard driving licence is fine)
* Planning delivery routes and communicating with customers regarding deliveries
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy
* Loading and unloading deliveries safely (some heavy lifting required)
* Picking, packing and checking orders accurately
* Receiving and storing stock deliveries
* Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation
* Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
* Following all health and safety procedures and using PPE provided
About You
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience in a warehouse or delivery role
* Good standard of education including Maths and English
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Reliable, organised and a strong team player
A Forklift Truck Licence would be beneficial, but training can be provided.
The successful candidate will also take part in a rota-based out-of-hours standby service, including Bank Holidays. Call-outs are rare though.
