OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE The Data Analyst will gather, clean, analyse, and interpret data to ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met, whilst also providing actionable insights to support decision-making. Working with various data sources the Data Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between raw data and actionable insights - transforming data into meaningful information and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders. PRINCIPAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Data collection and management - collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver insights. Data analysis and interpretation - analysing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Data visualization - designing and building dashboards and reports using visualisation tools to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Reporting and communication - preparing reports and presentations that clearly articulate the insights derived from the data analysis. Collaboration - Working with other teams and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide them with relevant insights. Supporting data quality initiatives and ensuring data integrity. Developing and maintaining data pipelines and automated workflows. Contributing to the continuous improvement of data processes and tools. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Demonstrable experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation A degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience Organised and methodical self-starter, with the ability to work well under pressure and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and new challenges. Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks,manage deadlines, and maintain a well-organised and efficient work environment is required. Excellent attention to detail - ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data analysis and reporting. Advanced IT skills - proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to quickly learn new software. Proficiency in SQL/SAS and at least one data visualisation tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is required. Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred. Excellent communication skills – demonstrable ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex data findings to various audiences.
