You will work closely with the Markets Technology team, Operational Support, Client‑facing teams, and integration specialists to ensure that reports, data pipelines, and downstream consumers receive timely and validated information. As the organisation expands its automated reporting and integration landscape, this role offers strong exposure to structured data flows (CSV/XML) and modern integration platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting Development & Support
Contribute to the development and maintenance of eFront Invest reporting solutions using SQL and SAS.
Assist in building structured output formats such as XML, CSV, and flat‑file extracts.
Support the translation of reporting requirements into SAS/SQL logic and reusable code modules.
Conduct data‑quality checks, reconciliations, and validation routines to ensure high‑quality outputs.
Data Integrations & Structured Data Flows
Support data feeds between eFront Invest, data warehouses, and external systems.
Assist with troubleshooting data‑flow issues, including ETL schedule failures or transformation discrepancies.
Help monitor integration processes using tools such as MuleSoft, SSIS, or internal automation tooling.
Contribute to maintaining data lineage, mapping documentation, and transformation rules.
Operational Support & Issue Resolution
Investigate and resolve reporting errors, data inconsistencies, and workflow issues.
Perform initial analysis and escalate complex issues to senior team members when required.
Work within established SLAs to support reporting cycles and business stakeholders.
Compliance, Governance & Continuous Improvement
Maintain clear documentation, test evidence, and change‑management records in line with audit and ISAE 3402 standards.
Support process‑improvement initiatives, including identifying opportunities for automation or enhanced data controls.
Assist with periodic review and housekeeping of reporting assets and documentation.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Work closely with financial reporting, fund accounting, and other technology teams to support reporting delivery.
Provide user support on day‑to‑day queries and contribute to knowledge‑base articles and training material.
Proactively flag recurring issues and suggest potential enhancements or process improvements.
Required
Skills, knowledge & expertise:
2–3 years' experience in reporting, data analysis, financial systems support, structured data flow environments, or similar technical roles.
Hands‑on experience with SQL and exposure to SAS (or willingness to learn).
Strong Excel skills, particularly in data validation, analysis, and reconciliation.
Good communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with operational and technology teams.
Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data quality and documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data/Computer Science, Finance or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Desirable
Experience with DevOps Boards and Agile delivery practices.
Familiarity with private‑markets platforms, ideally eFront Invest.
Exposure to GIT or other version‑control tools.
Understanding of fundamental fund structures or financial‑statement concepts.
Experience producing structured data outputs (CSV, XML).
Exposure to integration / ETL tools such as MuleSoft, SSIS, or Alteryx.
Awareness of Agile development methodologies (Agile is the team's strategic direction).
Career Development & Opportunity
This role offers strong exposure to enterprise data platforms, integration patterns, private‑markets reporting, and modern reporting technologies. You will receive training, mentoring, and opportunities for technical upskilling. The role provides a clear path to progression into Specialist, Senior Specialist, or development‑focused roles within the Reporting & Data function.
Aztec will provide the training, both in-house for relevant technical knowledge and also professional qualifications to enhance your professional development. You will need to be quick to learn new systems and great with people, as close working relationships between our colleagues and clients is at the heart of what we do.
