Main duties of the job

We are a vibrant and forward‑thinking multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care, support, and guidance to patients, their families, and our community. In this rewarding role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT) working. You’ll take the lead on new initiatives aimed at preventing hospital admissions and facilitating smoother, faster discharges. Collaborating closely with our dedicated team leader, you will provide tailored care to a diverse range of patients, both those with complex and non‑complex needs.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.

The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely. Person Specification


Qualifications & Professional Registration

* Degree / Diploma in Nursing studies or equivalent
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Part 1 Adult / General Level 1 or 2)
* V300 Non-Medical Prescribing qualification or willingness to work towards


Knowledge, Training & Experience

* Demonstrates evidence based clinical knowledge
* Communicates succinctly, clearly and accurately both verbally and in writing
* Be an effective team member who is able to relate to colleagues at all levels of the Trust with tact and diplomacy
* Ability to coordinate your workload and supervise members of the team, ensuring high quality, safe and effective patient care
* Post Registration Experience
* Experience of the use of clinical systems


Skills & Abilities

* Demonstrate initiative to proactively problem solve with a solution focus
* Ability to use reflective practice, to continuously improve the standard of patient care
* Ability to travel to different geographical locations across the Trust footprint in line with service needs
* Full UK driving licence with willingness to use own car for work purposes
