We are looking for seasonal staff that are 18+ due to licensing laws. Availability from October / November working through the Christmas season. There is a possibility for the role to be extended.

Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Giving high levels of customer service throughout.
* To use the First in first out (FIFO) rotation system with stock. To ensure all deliveries are checked
* Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
* To include the setting up / clearing tables, serving food, selling & preparing drinks and other tasks that may occur during the daily running of the pub / function rooms.
* Provide menu recommendations and answer any queries regarding food and beverages.
* Ensure that the front of house area is clean, organised, and well-presented at all times.
* Handle payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
* Whilst working on the bar, maintain the ID policy (Challenge 25) where applicable.
* To assist fellow staff in areas when needed.
* Assist with special events or functions as required.
Skills:
- Excellent time management skills
* Handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is essential
* Knowledge of food safety practices
* Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* A team player who can also work independently when required.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
