This position is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, unqualified teachers, or experienced support staff who are passionate about education and looking to develop their skills in a classroom environment.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the continuity of learning across the school. You’ll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, supervising classes in the absence of the teacher, and ensuring that students remain engaged and focused on their learning throughout the day.
Role responsibilities include:
* Supervising lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 following set lesson plans
* Managing classroom behaviour and supporting pupils to stay on task
* Building positive relationships with students and staff
* Providing feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
About you:
* Confident, organised and adaptable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to engage and motivate students across different subjects
* Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential
* A degree or strong academic background is advantageous
