Who You Are You are a dedicated and experienced care professional registered with Social Care Wales, qualified to at least Level 2 QCF in Health & Social Care. You possess a strong background working with older people and individuals with disabilities and are experienced in line-management or supervision within a regulated service. You demonstrate a person-centered, strength-based approach and are committed to promoting independence and empowering service users. What the Job Involves You will work as a Senior Care Officer within the Community Reablement Team, supporting complex cases and helping individuals increase their independence at home following illness or hospitalization. The role includes managing a team of Reablement Care Workers, ensuring they provide high-quality care in line with statutory regulations and Cardiff Council policies. You'll collaborate with team leads and assessors to monitor client progress, provide care, and mentor staff, all while maintaining high standards of documentation and compliance.
