As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pupils, delivering support that encourages a love for learning, confidence, and inclusion. What you have to do as a Primary TA: Provide classroom support to the teacher and pupils Deliver one-to-one or small group interventions Assist pupils with their learning activities and understanding Encourage good behaviour and classroom engagement Help manage classroom resources and displays Support pupils with additional learning needs or barriers Participate in planning and assessment discussions where required Primary Teaching Assistant (Primary TA) Requirements: A degree in Education, Psychology or in a similar field. Previous experience in a school or childcare setting as a Primary Teaching Assistant or similar is preferred CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant (desirable) A calm, supportive, and flexible approach to working with children Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Why Join GSL Education?
