Electronic and Software Design Engineer We are seeking a talented Electronic and Software Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing electrical circuits, safety circuits, and electrical control panels, as well as proficiency in electronic and sub-system design. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with specifications, supporting product data, and performing fault-finding in both electrical and mechanical systems. Responsibilities as an Electronic and Software Design Engineer Design electrical circuits, safety circuits, and electrical control panels Deliver electronics and sub-system design, including PCB design and layout Check off the first parts and assess compliance against specifications Support product data and update changes to engineering drawings Document control and maintain accurate records of design changes Perform fault-finding in both electrical and mechanical systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and design parameters Design and develop electrical circuits, safety circuits, and control panels Create and update engineering drawings to reflect design changes Perform hands-on testing and validation of electronic and mechanical systems Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure successful production implementation Provide technical support and expertise to resolve design issues and optimize product performance Qualifications as an Electronic and Software Design Engineer Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field Proficiency in CAD software for digital design of circuits and PCB layout Strong understanding of safety circuits and regulatory requirements Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Experience in electronics and sub-system design Knowledge of document control and engineering change management processes Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Benefits: Up to £48k salary DOE Pension Onsite Parking Great company cultureIf you would like to apply for this job, please apply directly or get in touch with (url removed)
