Main Duties/Responsibilities
As a Band 5 A&E Nurse, you will:
* Provide constant monitoring and care for patients in a seriously ill or unstable condition.
* Actively support emergency admissions and their families, communicating clinical information using various methods to ensure effective understanding.
* Assess and prioritise patient requirements, delegating effectively to others.
* Recognise, review, and report patients' conditions and any changes to senior staff within the multidisciplinary team.
* Adhere to the NMC professional Code of Conduct.
* Take blood, fit cannulas, undertake patient observations (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate, oxygen level) as needed throughout the shift.
* Treat resus patients and perform triage.
Essential Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications
* Be a registered nurse.
* At least 2 years post-graduate experience.
* 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
* Pass an enhanced background check.
