We need Service & Repair engineers to join our team of experienced Gas Engineers, to ensure that our customers get the help they need, when they need it. About your role: We need Service & Repair engineers to join our team of experienced Gas Engineers to ensure our customers receive help when needed. You'll be key to our Service Promise of same-day fixes. The base salary is £43,733 with uncapped OTE — £50,400 is a realistic expectation through our reward scheme. Being there for our customers is our priority.
Whether attending an annual service visit or a complex breakdown, you'll represent British Gas in customers' homes. You'll have support from managers, mentors, and colleagues, but some jobs can be challenging, requiring experience across various boilers, heating systems, and manufacturers.
Here's what we're looking for:
1. A natural focus on providing outstanding customer experience on every visit
2. Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1)
3. NVQ, C&G, or equivalent in plumbing or heating
4. At least 3 years qualified experience in fault finding and diagnosis
5. Electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan, and combination systems and boilers
