We are looking to expand our team as a result of a huge increase in our clientele base. We are a well established large kennels with 90 kennels in total. We are a friendly and welcoming group and are looking for a bright, confident and bubbly personality to come and join us.
There is a full-time position available as an assistant manager. Working 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday-Sunday.
Due to our busiest times being over the school holidays, we cannot authorise any annual leave within these times so please bear this in mind when applying for this role.
Responsibilities as an Assistant Manager
-Feeding, bathing, basic grooming, walking and exercising the dogs
-Cleaning kennels, poo picking large grass areas, filling large water troughs
-Answering the phone, taking bookings, dealing with general customer enquiries, cash handling, card payments
-Managing a team of staff
-Working with Manager on renewing policies and procedures to improve establishment
-Standing in for manager/s when needed
-Responsible for health and wellbeing of all dogs
-Working closely with Manager/s to understand staffing needs
-Customer Relations and Customer care

Desirable:
-Kennel experience
-Animal care qualification
-Customer service experience
-Driving License
We a have a no phone policy, any candidate offered a trial shift will be expected to leave their phone in their car or in our staff room, to be looked at during their own time only.

Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
