We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at The Harper Hotel. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation.
You will work alongside Executive Chef Jack Gosling, whose culinary journey has taken him from local Norfolk establishments to the two Michelin-starred Spectrum in Amsterdam. Jack brings a unique perspective that blends his deep local roots with world-class international experience, championing an approach to cooking that celebrates Norfolk's incredible seasonal bounty. His collaborative leadership style and commitment to building tight-knit kitchen teams create an environment where culinary excellence and creativity flourish.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standardised specifications and recipes.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
* Adapt to changing customer demands and specific dietary requirements.
* Uphold the hotel's reputation for excellence in dining and consistently deliver exceptional food and service.
* Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, etc.
Requirements:
* Experience as a Chef de Partie or a similar role in a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
