Job Title: Chilled Warehouse Operative

Location: Tewkesbury
Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Saturday shifts)
Job Description
This role is a key part of the distribution process, acting as the link between production and delivery operations. Working within a temperature-controlled environment, the position involves accurately picking and preparing customer orders while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
The role is physically demanding and requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Accurately pick customer orders using order tickets
* Carry out stock rotation procedures
* Replenish stock as required
* Safely load delivery vehicles, ensuring all orders are correct, secure, and ready for transport
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety policies
* Report any accidents or incidents promptly and assist with investigations if required
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by senior staff

Requirements
Essential:
* Strong organisational skills with a positive and flexible attitude
* Good communication skills and ability to work professionally with colleagues
* High attention to detail with strong numeracy skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
* Willingness to work shifts
Desirable:
* Experience in a warehouse, food production, or similar environment
* Understanding of safe working practices (training can be provided)
* Forklift truck licence (training may be available)
