Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Bar Staff member to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing the day-to-day bar operations, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for our members. The successful applicant will need to be professional and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including spirits, and non-alcoholic options Assist in managing the bar area to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Take orders accurately and deliver excellent customer service with a friendly demeanour, help catering staff when required Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards Monitor stock levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with licensing laws Assist House Manager to train and mentor junior staff members to uphold high service standards Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system Be able to work in a team and also alone Requirements Cellar help, line cleaning and barrel changing (training given) Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional attitude Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Basic maths skills for handling cash and calculating bills Effective time management to ensure prompt service during peak hours Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment A personable nature with excellent communication skills Previous bar/restaurant experience an advantage and willingness to learn is key This role offers an engaging environment where your hospitality expertise will be valued. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour Expected hours: 20 - 32 hours per week (seasonal). Shifts are arranged on a monthly rota and will include some weekends, evenings, and Bank Holidays. Expected start date: 01/04/2026
