About the role We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our UK Meats Team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in accelerating customer performance, driving commercial excellence and building long‑term partnerships. You’ll support two key customer accounts, working closely with senior team members to build trusted partnerships and help deliver sales, profit and brand objectives. Sitting at the heart of the business, you’ll lead customer relationships, turn strategy into action and make a measurable impact — with the freedom to think big, move fast and deliver results. Key responsibilities Managing and developing strong stakeholder relationships across designated customer accounts Delivering against annual sales budgets and targets Negotiating and implementing all pricing and commercial agreements in line with Kerry strategy Driving product availability, customer orders and best-in-class service levels (from order fulfilment through to cash collection) Working closely with Demand Planning to ensure customer forecasts are accurately reflected in business forecasts Creating and executing integrated account plans that support overall strategy and brand execution Owning customer performance through effective Joint Business Plans (JBPs), ensuring alignment across all stakeholders Building deep expertise in your customers, their competitors and the wider market landscape Planning, developing and delivering customer promotions Creating, maintaining and actively managing customer business plans (JBPs) Negotiating and delivering targeted customer trade rates across all activities Ensuring accurate forecasting through close collaboration with Demand Planning teams Qualifications and skills Proven experience in account management or commercial roles, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing Strong negotiation and influencing skills Confidence working cross-functionally with supply chain, demand planning and marketing teams A data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insight into action Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a passion for building long-term customer partnerships Experience within the meat, foodservice or protein categories would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
