We are seeking an innovative systems implementer and trainer to assist with the initial setup and training delivery of a new construction-based health and safety software within our organization.
The Trainer will collaborate with the Strategy Director to analyze requirements from various teams, design training materials, and deliver training on the system, processes, and soft skills. Post-training support during the go-live phase will also be required.
Trainer Responsibilities:
1. Work with our system provider to ensure correct implementation, utilizing their training resources and inputting data as needed.
2. Create comprehensive user guides for classroom sessions, covering system and off-system activities.
3. Develop online training materials, such as eLearning modules, for ongoing access and onboarding new starters.
4. Deliver tailored training sessions to different user groups, including onboarding and process training.
5. Provide soft skills training to support recruitment and onboarding processes.
6. Prepare learning materials for training programs.
7. Support learners in integrating new systems and processes into their daily routines.
8. Encourage and support learners through their change management journey.
Trainer Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a systems trainer, demonstrated by:
* Developing training materials such as user guides, process guides, and quick reference documents.
* Ability to communicate effectively with learners of various styles and adapt training methods accordingly.
* Strong organizational skills to prepare, deliver, and follow up on multiple training sessions over consecutive days.
* Willingness and ability to travel to various sites in the southeast for onsite training, and to work from a suitable home office for virtual sessions.
