Job Opportunity: GCSE Mathematics Teacher
The Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced teacher of GCSE Mathematics to join the English and Maths team.
The Role
Working as part of our highly experienced GCSE Mathematics team, you will contribute to delivering excellence in teaching, learning and assessment. You will engage learners in maths and help them overcome barriers, making maths relevant, practical and enjoyable with a commitment to securing positive outcomes for all those we teach.
This role requires you to deliver high quality, learner‑focused education. You will help develop the curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies that enable students to succeed and thrive in their chosen subject area.
About You
We are looking for candidates passionate about mathematics, eager to share knowledge, and enthusiastic about supporting young people. Experience of teaching post‑16 GCSE or Secondary GCSE Mathematics is ideal. A Mathematics degree is not essential, but clear evidence of maths subject specialism in related disciplines is required. The role suits Newly Qualified Teachers or experienced practitioners.
Candidates will have access to ongoing internal and external CPD opportunities, including subject‑specific CPD.
Location
The Trafford and Stockport College Group – Stockport campus (potential deployment at other sites if required and mutually agreed).
