At Gallagher, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated IT M&A Business Analyst to join our growing technology team. The role will focus and assist with Due Diligence (DD) activities of an acquisition relating to IT Infrastructure, Applications, Security and Digital (Web). Enhancing our existing Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) capability and capacity, the role supports one of Gallagher’s strategic priorities for growth within the EMEA region. The successful candidate will be tasked with improving our existing M&A capability and capacity, supporting our strategic growth priorities for the Gallagher EMEA Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa & India). The role will join a team of experienced and professional Business Analysts, Project Managers and Programme Managers and will be dealing senior stakeholders at Gallagher including our UK Executive Team. How you'll make an impact Experience in M&A – from DD through to Transition especially in the IT Infrastructure and then linking that into the Application & Digital migration space. Experience in defining proposed IT Infrastructure budgets to enable Infrastructure integration. Hardworking, credible with a forward-thinking demeanour. Confident in building and managing effective and collaborative business relationships. A strong and eloquent communicator with outstanding organisational skills. Happy to manage multiple workloads and evolving priorities! Technical capability across IT Infrastructure, Applications, Telephony, End User Devices (EUD), Printing, Data and Digital subject areas. Attend weekly M&A workstream calls to provide updates and current risk(s), findings and report on DD completion timings etc. along with communicating with proposed targets to gather more detailed data for analysis Initial build of IT DD Diligence Reports and Budgets, both one-off integration costs and on-going running costs. Detailed Eye: We will need the candidate to trawl through Data Rooms and pick out, not just the obvious IT related information but other workstream data and report on findings and complete questionnaires based on the incoming data room information. About you A previous background and understanding of IT infrastructure. Previous experience gained in IT Integrations (preferably in the General Insurance area) confident in planning delivery and estimating resource needs. Business Analyst experience in an IT/Tech environment and knowledge of Applications/ Infrastructure/ Security systems. IT M&A Due Diligence experience would be a huge advantage A solid understanding of Project Management methodologies. Able to communicate at all levels of management including IT Executive Board members. Proficient in MS Office with strong IT skills, knowledge and background. Eligible to work in the UK.
