About the Role: As a Buyer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our purchasing department. Your responsibilities will include: Order Management: Sending purchase orders and updating the sales team on delivery information. System Maintenance: Adding purchase order acknowledgements to our MRP system and raising requisition orders. Vendor Coordination: Chasing vendors for delivery information, expediting orders when necessary, and updating teams with price changes. Reporting: Creating shortage reports for customer orders and resolving invoice queries. Collaboration: Assisting the stores team with ad-hoc tasks and sending OPOR to critical vendors. What We're Looking For: Experience: Previous administrative experience, preferably in a purchasing or procurement role. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with MRP systems; SAP experience is desirable.
