Our infrastructure division provides end-to-end risk management solutions and supports key civil infrastructure across the UK and beyond. Our team conducts thorough inspections and operates in challenging locations to support our customers. To be considered for this role you will live in a commutable distance to our Manchester City Centre office.
What will you be doing?
As a Quantity Surveyor for BES Infrastructure, you will be responsible for the Commercial Administration and Management of assigned contracts. You will lead by example to encourage positive contract management and commercial behaviours throughout the operational delivery teams, driving improvements in delivery performance and profitability.
* Prepare the Application for Payment and manage the invoicing process for various rail and non-rail contracts, ensuring timely submissions in line with client expectations and prompt resolution of commercial issues.
* Identify project change control, contract management and risk mitigation with colleagues, contractors and suppliers.
* Ensure pricing and costing accuracy of annual contract work banks, and any additional works including application of SoRs against asset descriptors.
* Maximise strategic supply chain cost-saving opportunities through structured procurement and ongoing supplier engagement.
* Enhance value, reduce costs and prepare CVR reconciliations.
* Provide insights for customers and the wider infrastructure industry about BES Group, opportunities for growth, and our services where appropriate.
What you will need
* Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Business Management, Quantity Surveying or Finance
* Strong experience in Finance, Commercial or Contract Management at a management level
* Experience managing commercial contracts with a minimum £1M commercial responsibility
* Knowledge of Commercial Contracts and NEC and ICE Forms of contracts
* UK Driving licence

To Join Our Team, You Will Need
