We’re working in partnership with a well-established and respected multi-disciplinary consultancy, as they continue to expand their Romsey office. Due to sustained growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in drainage design to play a key role in delivering interesting projects that contribute positively to communities and the environment The Role:
* Lead the design and delivery of surface water and foul drainage schemes
* Prepare Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and SAB applications
* Undertake drainage strategies in line with current regulations and best practice (SuDS focus)
* Support highway design where required, including S278, S38, and S104 agreements
* Manage project workflows, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
* Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders including local authorities and statutory bodies
Projects span a wide range of sectors, including residential developments, education, conservation, industrial schemes, commercial projects and more.Ideal Skills & Experience:
* 3+ years’ experience in civil engineering, with a strong emphasis on drainage design
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage/Flow (or similar software)
* Good understanding of SuDS principles and UK drainage standards
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ambition to progress professionally within a growing consultancy
What’s on Offer:
* Salary £30,000 - £55,000
