Overview
An established and well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative environment handling high-quality private client matters while developing long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of Private Client matters, including:
* Wills and Trusts
* Probate and Estate Administration
* Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning
* Taking client instructions and providing clear, accurate legal advice
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Managing files from instruction through to completion
* Maintaining excellent client care and professional standards
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
* Participating in business development and networking activities
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with 2–5+ years PQE in Private Client
* Strong technical knowledge of Private Client law
* Ability to manage a caseload independently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Client-focused and commercially aware
* STEP qualification or working towards STEP (desirable, not essential)
